WellSpan Health has appointed Tina Citro to the role of vice president for the health system as well as president of WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. In this role, Citro will oversee operations of the 160-bed community hospital and hospital-based services in the Lebanon area, ensuring coordination with systemwide patient safety, quality and care management processes.

“Tina’s focus and successes at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital position her to continue to deliver operational excellence at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital,” said James Stuccio, senior vice president of WellSpan’s east region. “She is dedicated to supporting our teams and the personalized care they provide to our patients and I know that she will do the same for the Lebanon community.”

Citro most recently served in the role in an interim capacity when Patricia Donley stepped away in March to take on the system role of senior vice president and chief nursing executive. Citro joined WellSpan in 2016 as the vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital, where she led the hospital to a 5-star CMS and Leapfrog A designation and oversaw the completion of several capital projects. In 2020, she was promoted to vice president of the system and president of WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital.

In her new role, Citro will report to James Stuccio, senior vice president of WellSpan’s east region.
